Seeking: Foam/gel coatings to prevent adhesion of cellulose fibers to steel
This organization is seeking novel foams/coatings/gels to prevent the sticking of cellulose fibers to a steel surface. The desired solution should act as a physical buffer between the fibers and the steel. The composition should provide a physical buffer function up to temperatures of 400°F. It would be preferable if the solution could also provide a blanketing function to keep all particles together during transport of the loose fibers.
For this application, the cellulose is combined with a resin binder. A combination of the binding agent and fibers is what sticks to the surface of the steel.
A water-based dispersion of your coating/foam/gel is preferred.
